Default dumb *** question...

what is proper way to remove corrosion? I'm assuming pour baking soda right into battery (Where terminal screws in) and on battery terminal? and let it sit there for a min then rinse off with water then dry everything thoroughly. Am I correct? Please let me know asap, because I need to do this tomorrow morning before work. Thank you.

I use baking soda mixed with some perxide (sp?) If its really thick, ill scrub it off with an old toothbrush. Works fine for me.

red, do you use water to clean that gooey stuff off? Should I just leave it there? Just want to do this right. Don't want to hurt battery at all. thanks.

Yeah, coke works too. Rinse either off well with water. And DON'T get either into the battery (should be a closed cell if its your SS so you should be safe).
