Default Is there a trick to remove the lifters

I'm trying to remove my lifters. They come out maybe 3/4 of an inch and then stop. Is there a trick to getting them all the way out? I have the heads off.

Is it suction that's holding them in?

Thanks

They will catch just a little as they come out. I use a clean cloth to grab ahold of them.

Did you remove the "plastic" lifter cups? If so, you should be able to magnet them outta there.

You should be able to wiggle them out of there. Sometimes they are stubborn.
Yeah make sure you remove the lifter cups.
