timing chain?
Doing a cam install!!!!Is a new timing chain on a 99Z w/ 50k miles necessary? Is it harder to install a new one than it is stock? What do you do different on a new one to install? What would be the advantages of a new one? Also, what is the best & cheapest valve spring compressor & were to get it. Thanks for the help in advance!

Re: timing chain?
...buy a new timing set; sdpc sells a double roller for less than $100 - cheap insurance...if you are going with a high lift cam, stout springs etc...
...they are hard to install, however...since you need to remove the engine pan and oil pump, shimm the pump, etc.
