Default Gulp..metal in oil!

Had oil change done and right at the end of the oil plug was a pea size piece of metal. The jiffy lube guy says it was probably off the retainer off a valve. Ani ideas suggestions or advice??

probably a needle bearing out of a rocker arm....

it wasnt actally pea shaped but more like a sliver should i be super concerned?

Sounds like a needle bearing, as was mentioned above. Should you be concerned? Yes, considering one of your rockers seems to have gone bad and could have puked up lots of little slivers into the engine... pull the valve covers and inspect the rockers, ASAP.

Not trying to steal the thread, but what all do you do when a rocker spills the bearings? How do you get them all out?

I just did a oil change and found pieces of metal stuck to the oil drain plug and the oil look kind of brownish,silver like sparkling in the light should i be concerned.I bought the motor with less then onethousand miles.

hey man i live in san jose too, im pulling my valve covers off on friday, that its easy maybe you can swing by.
