Default where now?

right now im waiting on my shocks (Qa1) and chassy bracing stuff to come in and my new moser 12 bolt (4.10) with wild wood brakes is on the way also. i have all the bolt ons! now i just dont know where to start as far as the cam. i would like to have a 346 or 347 rev to 68-7000 pretty easily. and looking for at least 440 rwhp cam only. what all internals will i need. new push rods, lifters, roller rockers...etc. $ is not an issue because i will save as long as i have to. I am just looking for a hardcore 346/347 to get me in low 11's or high 10's.

i just need a little help getting started in the right direction as far as some name brand parts and mabey a few cam suggestions.

I will do heads later and then N02 (200 shot at most) and then torque converter last to make it all match

the car is an A4 02 Z-28.

Thanks in advance

A cam will easly get you 340+hp with full boltons. Alot of people will tell you to get the tq converter first, I have a m6 so i am not speaking from experance. With mods in sig I made 386hp 372tq, no track times. I just replaced push rods and springs. Hope this helps.

To run 11s on cam only you are going to need a good size cam, and to make the cam work you are going to need a torque converter at the same time. Check out the sponsors web sites. They will tell you what stall a cam needs. I have a TSP 228R. I would need gears, and slicks to get to get close to mid-high 11s.

You don't need a cam to run 11's in an A4. If your car is set up properly, 11.5's will not be a problem once you get a cam and a stall. And remember that big cams need big stalls.

4000 stall.

If I were you i would get a nice hefty stall now (yank TP4200 or SS4000) and go at it stock internals, you will hit 11's with that stall and the stock cam. And then adding the Large cam you will see even better times.
