Default Hi from PRI

Any of you forum members, sponsors coming out to PRI, stop in at booth 9017 in machinery row and say hello.

I have worked the Darton Sleeve booth the past three years but this PRI I have my own booth displaying our line of Block Pro CNC mills. I plan on demonstrating machining of LS6 blocks for MID sleeves.

Steve,

Has planned on going but too many projects going on. I tried sending you a link to the TT427 Chevy 2 project last time we spoke but it never made it. I think I had the wrong address. Motor is starting to come together finally!

I'll keep you posted! Have fun at PRI!

Default Ls2

I have not cut open an LS2 block yet to see if the current sleeves will work with out modification. The LS2 block is externally different from the LS1 - LS6 blocks.

Darton is not inclined to do any R&D at present. I might be able to get my hands on a block and look into it myself however. Depends on how many machines I sell at this show $$$.

I did get Darton to come out with a new larger sleeve for the LS1 blocks. This sleeve will go to 4.200" bore up from the current limit of 4.160". Will allow not only larger engines but better breathing with larger valves. They brought a sample for display in their booth at PRI.

I've already spoken to Cometic about a larger bore gasket for this new 4.200" sleeve. I'll talk to them more at this show about it.
