LMAO you guys are nuts!!

The Tx Giant is actually a camshaft we use alot in our stroker packages. It has helped us to go into the 485+rwhp range with a 383 & hopefully will push our 402 short blocks & crate motors close to the 550rwhp mark. We've only cut the cam on a 113 & 114 lobe seperation so far. On a 113 & 114 lobe sep. the camshafts idles & performs pretty well in a street car

Power will depend on the rest of the engine: cylinder heads, compression ratio, etc. The 383 cid we put it in was in a 2000 FRC C5, and the customer flew in and drove it back home in Springfield, Missouri. It has a great thump to it at idle, and he said he gets a LOT of looks when sitting at lights. It's even better with his aggressive Corsa cat-back. It's definitely not a camshaft that I would even consider in a stock-cid setup unless it's a 110% race setup (i.e. 5000+ stall, steep gearing, etc.). It wouldn't be very streetable in a stock-cid application, but it works well in strokers.

Wait until we try our newest 250/256, .614"/.612" cam on a 114 LSA in an employee's up-coming 408 cid. It ought to make some nice power with the AFR 225's going on top of it. He's shooting for nines on the bottle, and it's his only mode of transportation.

It's about time someone started developing different grinds for big cubes. Be sure to post up results on the 250/256.

Talk about bringing a thread back from the dead, 6 months later now, did the employee's 408 ever get finished? And how'd that big *** cam perform in it?

Texas Big Stick cam looks like it rocks. If someone GAVE it to me, I'd put it in my 346, no doubt about it.

We are running a solid roller 252/252 on a 108lsa on a all out NE car with >350 CID and there is no way in hell it would be "streetable",....well not any fun if you tried anyway!

Sounds weak...Actually its about what I am running my 427. I would think .680/.680 280/280 is more on the agressive side. In any case, a little too large for 346.
