Default C5R Valve covers

I got a set of C5-R vavle covers and as you know they do not have a groove for the seal or o'ring gasket. My question is , should I make a gasket, does some one make gaskets or just use a bead of silicone?

You will have to make the gaskets, the thick blue gasket paper works. My heads have the grooves cut in them for the C5R o-ring and it works OK. If you have a hydraulic cam and dont plan on taking them off a lot you can just silicone them on also..

Not yet will take some pics and post them. I might not use them, I have to put holes in them for breathers, They look to nice to do to them.

Another question on C5R covers: the bolt spacers that came with mine were obviously designed for the C5R heads. Has anyone calculated the correct length for spacers for LS6 heads?
