do u need a pulley puller to get the stock one off

You are going to need a three arm puller for it. IT may take a few tries to get it on right but once you do it will be ok. I did one on my Camaro an it was alot easier than my Vette. I broke 2 pullers on the Vette and finally borrowed a really nice one from a GM mechanic buddy of mine to pull it. With that pulley, It was alot easier with that puller. Good luck.

yea you gona need one and don't get a super cheap one either i made that mistake with my t/a broke that one ( took it back to pep boys and told them it just broke lol they took it back) learn my lesson then went and bought a good one and got the job done.

and note to everyone.... there is no way in hell that the 5-6 bicks you will save on the cheap tool is worth the headaches you will get later.... tools are one thing you get what you pay for... never ever go cheap on your tools

The puller I borrowed from Pep Boys worked fine. Just take your time and don't be afraid to re-postion the jaws a few times.
