Default Engine Stand Bolts

Man im going freakin insane trying to find the right bolts to use to mount a ls6 to an engine stand...if anyone, and i mean anyone has any info on the size of the bolt to use...ive heard its the same size as the bell housing bolt but i need to get longer ones...ive never mounted an engine to a stand so im clueless....ive even been to a gm dealership and they just look at me funny when i asked them what bolts to use and where to mount them...I mean WTF is up with that...they are all abunch of (male private)'s...but id greatly appreciate any help on this..its pissing me off...

I believe they are 10mm x 1.5trhead pitch about 3.5 to 4.0 inches long

10mm, 1.5 pitch by 100 or 150 mm long depending on how long the lugs on your particular stand
M10 x 1.50 threaded bolt I believe. I get mine from NAPA and I *think* they are 55mm in length
10x40x1.25 metric


those are the two bolt specs i found by searching when i needed my own set. i picked them up from home depot.

yea and i just got back from home depot and bought a few but no luck...now that i got a size to go by ill check back tomarrow ....thanks guys

10M x 1.5 is the right size, I found mine in a box of old nuts and bolts that I had left over from some Vette dismantling...found an auction on ebay for misc hardware and got a good buy on it. This can of nuts and bolts has saved me more than one trip to GM or the parts store!
