Default Guess That Problem

Problem is when turning on car it cranks very slow. You have to give it gas for it to turn on and once it's on you have hold the idle at about 1K for 15-20 seconds in order for it to remain on. Once you start driving everything is fine until you stop then idle will surge a little but not to bad. Car has H/C with all the bolt ons. Any Suggestions???

car was tuned and ran fine. Then at a gas station one day i started up and heard a noise. come to find out the bendix on the starter didn't pull back. I swapped the battery cause it wouldnt start and found a leaking stock battery so I replaced the battery, and the starter. One guy suggested that acid may have ran down the cables and to try getting new ones. Another guy said it might be the alternator anyone else experience anything like this?

sounds like electrical system...probably alt about to crap out or could be the new battery...recheck your connections from the lugs to the wires for the batt terminals.

Low system voltage. Check the alt. you're probably running on the battery.
