Need help: Low oil pressure I have a 98 trans am with 141,000 miles on it and I have noticed here lately that my oil pressure has been holding at about 35lbs. instead of the normal 42lbs. at an idle on a warm day. I was wondering if I have a problem on my hands or if this is normal for motors with higher miles that are a little looser than a newer motor.

I now have a ported/high volume pump and has
58-60 @idle.I run 5w30 synthblend w/lucas
oil stablizer.
