i'm swapping my factory valve covers on my 99 trans am. i did the drivers side earlier i was starting to do the passenger side when i saw that the passenger side valve cover on my car has a front and rear tube coming from it and that the one i'm was going to switch out for it has only the front tube. i know that the front tube is the pcv. what i need to know is what is the rear tube? should i delete it or put it into the other valve cover? if i was to need to put it into the other valve cover how would i do so?

i thought that it was possibly part of the pcv system. as it is a part of the pcv i don't want to delete it. how would i get the tube into the new valve cover?
You will probably have to drill a hole in the rear of the valvecover and use a regular plumbing hose fitting (barbed) to connect the hose.
