Default Forged Bottom End

About how much would it cost to have someone forge the bottom end of an LS1? crank, rods, pistons, etc. How long would it take?

LME offers a forged 347 for 2900. This price includes the block. It has Callies H beam rods, Wiseco pistons, ARP main studs. Give us a call for the specifics.

That is a good deal but it includes a stock crank. Witch is good for a **** load of power.
For about a grand more you can get a forged crank but dont get a stock stroke one get a 4in so you can have a 383 insead of a 346. I dont know about LME but i can say that Thunder racing does a 383 for 3900 but you have to suply the block also. I would amagain that LME can do the same thing.

LOL you dont even have the kit and the mod bug has bit.

Terry Wilkes at RaceTech builds a good motor. At a very good price. Racetechs on the sponsor list.

Give us a call if you want a solid dependable short block. We are not the cheapest but we build a great motor. I always loved this saying: "If you think an expert is expensive try paying an amateur"
