just completed h/c swap on my 2004 a4 vette and wanted to pass on information on how to keep coolant out of lower bolt holes and cylinder bores. after water pump is removed, insert a length of 1/4 inch syten clear tubing into lower water pump passage and start a siphon. do both sides, lowers coolant level below deck, no coolant into bolt holes or cylinders.
