I know this isn't internal engine but...

I just got word from my local GM dealer that trans to bellhousing and bellhousing to block bolts are on backorder and will not come in for at least 2-3 weeks. Can anyone tell me what size and hardness these are so I can go to a local parts house to try to source them.

I don't know but just use grade 8 and you will have it covered, they're not all that expensive anyway. Don't know the size either but check your shop manual or just take out one of the bottom ones, they are easy to get to and you can drive with one missing anyway if you're not racing.

Actually I purchased the tranny and bellhousing from a guy in Kentucky, and he didn't include any of either bolts. So I have exactly squat to go by.

do you have a metric tap and die set? if so, run the one down the hole that goes easily and look at the size on the tap
