Default Patriot Head question: does the stock valvetrain fit?

heres a question i havent seen answered.

lets say i buy the bare heads.($1,095.00 per pair)...
i already have springs from when i got my cam..

can i reuse the valves, from my stock heads with the Patriot heads?

basicly i want to know if i can stick my old valves in, slip on new seals, and put my springs on them.....

or is that asking for trouble since the valves would have wear on them, but the patriot seats would be fresh cut? what about valvestem length? stock works, right?

might as well just get new springs and valves...you will have to change the springs out after awhile anyways...how many miles are on them?

roughly 4,000 miles..on a very mild cam.. no XR lobes....not nearly enough to be worn.

my worry would be the valves seating...

the stock valves won't match the valve job
valve stem length is stock

Like Brad said the stock valves are 2.00"/1.55" and our LS6 style heads are set up for at least a 2.02"/1.57". Besides, for only $300.00 more, you get an assembled head fitted with 23-8N stainless valves, "best on the market" Patriot "Gold" .650" dual springs, bronze guides, super 7 locks, ti retainers, and viton rubber seals. It is a hard deal to beat.

These are available from any of our retailers: FFHP, Speed Inc, Summit, SDPC, LM Performance, Combination Motorsports, Byun Speed, F Body Motorsports, JC Whitney, Eckler's, L.A.P.D.
