i have been wanting to put these on my stock ls1 head and have been reading horrer stories about how they snap in two. i was wondering if the new ls6 valves even though they are lighter are a bit stronger. any feed back is a aprciated.

If you drop one it's gonna break and be ugly. A lightweight valvetrain, though, all other things being equal, should be less prone to valvefloat, spring breakage and dropping a valve. But if you want to use the sodium-filled LS6 valves, I'd suggest looking for a set of 02+ LS6 take-off heads for about $800. New valves are very expensive. Get the heads+valves for a couple hundred more and have better heads, too.
