comp rockers keep coming loose ?? HELP PLease !!! i adjusted the preload correctly on my comp r lifters and the comp adj rockers. I know i am supposed to tighten the poly locks all the way down then the wrentch another little bit. For some reason when i buzz the engine up 6k rpm a few times the rockers come loose. i thought maybe i did the adjment wrong yesterday so i fixed the side the came loose on then today i the dyno the other side came loose. so i tightened the other side up but one of the Rockers after adjustment was still loose???
I dont understand i set the rocker to zero lash poly lock it and turn the motor over and then its loose again??? any one know whats going on?
i set some more preload in it and drove the car home from the dyno. when i got home the lifter seemed tight????? ill check it out in the mornin but does anyone have a clue on whats going on?
