Default 981-16/GM Hotcam?

Will these valve springs work with the GM hot cam instead of the ls6 springs?

CompCams 981-16 1.250 outer w/dampner.

Reason is i already have these springs NIB for a few years and it really does feel stiffer than the used ls6 springs i recieved with the used gm hotcam.

These are 981's not 918's.

Thanks.

You can't use those springs. The installed height is 1.700" which means you would have to shim them up .100" to get that spring pressure and they are only rated to a .500" lift. My advise..if they are new in the box..return them for a credit on some 918's.
