A gentleman I work with says that the only 2002 Camaros that came with Synthetic Oil were the SS's that came with the SLP Castrol option.

I said that the "Syntech" was only an option from '98 thru '00 & that in '01 & '02 alll LS1 equipped vehicles came with a factory fill of Mobil 1.

Since he didn't believe me I figured I'd let the experts answer the question.
