Default Valvetrain Adjustment

Hey, what's up guys. Got my engine running again finally after that thrown rod. I have a ls1/m6 in a third gen. I have a lot of valvetrain noise- some at idle and worse at high rpm's. I tightened the rockers to 22lbs. and in sequence, but there's too much noise for it to be right. What is the right adjustment for a stock valvetrain on a 2000 ls1? I'm lacking some power too, is that because of the valvetrain? Any help would be great!!! Thanks

There is no valvetrain adjustment on a stock LS1. Are you sure it has a stock cam in it?

Did you tighten them all up, rotate the engine 180 and re-torque?

Ya everything's stock except for a 10% underdrive pulley. Thanks I'll have to retighten the rockers again and see what happens.

Since you had a rod failure, you may an oil pump screen plugged with steel wool like that other dude that posted on here. Hydrallic lifters are often noisy because they aren't getting enough oil.
