Yeah, my car is friggn slow and don't know why. This is my 4th cam and the biggest cam, it's also the fastest one so far. Given the fact the stall and gear are not right, may be my problemo. I also can't figure out why race weights vary so much between f-bodies, I mean it's like between 3500-3900 race weights. I was 3580 with a cage, my 200 pounds, NOS bottle, and only the rear seat removed. How do people car end up hundreds of pounds heavier, maybe the track scale was way off?

Anyway, when a Trex cam only car goes 10.5's, something is working.

Since I'm gonna go FI, I am gonna drop the cam size considerably smaller and just have some fun with it. What's a good turbo cam?

JS, are you still gonna be running the TR224? Who's heads?

I thought he ran like 10.7's with most of the car still in tact?

next trip to the track for me I'll be an M6, So I may slow down even more, we'll see what happens..

I'm running 10.80's@124 with the TR224 cam and a local porters Stage 1 LS6 heads and its staying this way.I'll get 10.70's out of it this way for sure.

Slowhawks tuning did wonders for this car,I had 3 others try to tune it and they all failed,I then bought my own edit and Don helped me over the phone and via emails to tun my car.

Slowhawk is the best.....

A M6 can be just as fast as an A4 with the right driver.J.S's setup is very basic but his car is track tuned which is very different than a dyno tuned car.
I would love to get Curtis's car down to 3200lbs.That would be low 10's easilly enough His car might be getting a bigger motor in the future though
