Default Need to replace Intake manifold gaskets?

I'm doing a H/C swap and I have about 3,000 miles on the LS6 intake manifold currently on the car - do I need to replace the 8 gaskets on the intake manifold when I reinstall it? I know there is hardly any mileage on it, but are these gaskets ones that should be manditory to change? I'm thinking since they're rubber/silicon and not that old that that they won't be too damaged.

I ask because I'm a slight newbie at a head swap, and reading through all the posts and walkthroughs, virtually no one has mentioned replacing those gaskets during the process. So that makes me scratch my head.

Thanks.

I don't believe you do... I think that is one of the gaskets that is even reusable on 98s? (I know alot of the 98 gaskets are not reusable like the timing chain and valve cover... but Intake manifold are I believe?)

I've had my intake man off a few times and haven't replaced them... no leaks

Thanks for your replies gents. I figured that was the case, but I was curious to know what others did.
