Default Crankshaft Casting Numbers

I have a couple of crankshafts that are 12552216 casting number so I know that they are LS but I don't know how to decipher the other casting marks. I am looking to find the year or actual date of manufacture, like the stampings on the heads.
On each crank there are two "clocks" cast on the crank, one has twelve dots in a circle just like a time clock and the other has three sets of dots. Each casting has an arrow in the middle, on the 12-dot clock the arrow points at 2-o'clock...the other arrow is pointing at a row of 3 dots. There is one other casting that has an "049". Can anybody tell me what these mean? I have already been to the MORTEC site with no luck. Thanks...
