Default Where is the block's water drain.

Doing a H/C and I was wondering if you guys could help me with the location of the block's coolant drain? Thanks for your help in advacne...

Info from a previous thread:

On the pass side, there is a plug that lies flat just above the starter between the starter and the block. You will need a 5/16 allen socket to remove. On the drivers side in the front by the alternator, there is a plug on the side of the block that will require a 17 mm allen socket to remove. You may have to tap on the plugs lightly to loosen but then they come right out. Be sure to use teflon sealant on the plugs and install.

I believe that I also saw one above the filter pad, in addition to the one by the starter. You will have to remove the starter.

the one above the filter is oil, don't ask how I found out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .
