I am putting my motor back together it is a 5.3 with LS6 stage 2 heads with 59cc chambers. My question is the cam that I am putting in is comps 224/230 581/588 112+2 with a 150+ shot, is this enough cam. I know that there are a lot bigger cams out there and I also know that I have a smaller motor. Should I go with a bigger cam or should this one ok??

 

That cam will work fine. Bigger isn't always better. It is more about how your combo works together than how big it is.
