Lifter replacement???

Default Lifter replacement???

I'm replacing the lifters and my question is do I need to prep the lifter before I install them.Do I soak them in oil or assembly lube.

Just soak them in a little oil.

Assembley lube works really good. It gives more protection than oil during the first startup.

I soaked mine in oil overnight. Might be overkill, but its harmless...

Before install soak them in oil that has been heated on your stove, this should get rid of any air.
