C5R head?
There are three versions of that head in different stages of machine work. ALL require additional machine work and are EXPENSIVE. They will require the Kinsler intake manifold to make it work. You'd need to be a professional engine builder to make the valvetrain and PTV work on a stock shortblock. It is completely wrong to use those heads on a street car. There are much better choices that can be bolted right up for less $$$.
Yeah, the CC is ridiculously small, I think they're made for about 14 or 15:1 CR? Remember it is a LeMans Race engine!
You don't necessarily need the Kinsler, but you would have to have a custom sheet metal intake manifold fab'd, which would probably run around 3 grand.
I think the AFR 225's are probably a better alternative for a max effort H/C car, and probably will flow near as good.
