AS 5.3 L heads, spring install height?

AS 5.3 L heads, spring install height? I've got a set of Jays Stage 2 5.3 L heads with CC978 springs and am getting ready for a cam swap. The springs are supposed to have a 1.850 install height, but I have heard that Jay did some 1.800 installs. That will potentially cause coil bind in my application. I think he set up the heads for TR224/224 .563/.563. I've got supposedly 11/1 CR, and use 7.35 PR's. When I tear the car down I only have the weekend and can't have any surprises.I can't find Jay. HELP!!!
