Formula383 - Yep gonna sell the X3, got a couple locals interested, if they fall through are you interested? Has maybe 8k miles on it if that.

nspr8td lt1 - Let me know how it goes, I have a friend that has the X4 and his car runs strong!

Pdd - Thanks dude, I hope to gain some power all over the place, and hopefully run a little quicker

haha, heads are too much money for the HP you acheive, and I will add nitrous too, just want to get the baddest cam first, then the nitrous will make it SHINE Heads can eat me

Isn't that the point, to put to gether a combo that matches? Heads would be a solid part of it if one wants to make more power.

Yeah but they cost a ton, and you get what, 40hp maybe, I can spend $600 and get 150hp if I want.

Let's see, people go from 400 to 450 horsepower with the addition of heads that cost less than $2000. That is $40 per horsepower (of course, give or take a few). And you can get cheaper heads if you want. Good stainless headers, for comparisons sake, would be $35 per horse if they gained you 20 rwhp. So I don't think it's fair to say that heads aren't worth the money. They allow you to have fulltime power (N/A) while retaining drivability by not running a huge *** cam. But if you would rather lose drivability by running a bigger cam to gain a little power, be my guest.

Who says big cams lose drivability? My X3 drives like stock, just fine, a good tuner can make a big cam drive great. I would do heads on a new motor, say a 408, but a stock bottom end no thanks. A nice big cam will make me happy, and nitrous will suffice in a bind.

What about pov clearance on your stock shortblock? If that cam is as big as I suspect it is then I suspect you may have a problem.
