Default Different Lifters??

Ok I bought some used lifters off of e-bay to replace mine cuz I had one or two ticking and these are what I got....

My old ones are on the left, and then new ones are on the right. You'll notice first of all that the roller tip is different. It has a cut out part where my old one has material. Second, the new one has a hole in the middle where as my old ones have the hole on the side. Why are these lifters different? My old ones look so much meatier and durable than the new ones. I'm a little worried about if they are going to work or not. Also, I install the hole pointed into the oil gallery right?

Your Ebay lifter on the right looks identical to the lifters in my 03 LS1. The one on the left is probably an older LS1 design.

Cool

Eaton and Delphi lifters. That's the difference.

Comp OE lifters look like your old ones (enclosed tip.) My 2001 LS1 had the open lifters. Not sure which is best, but they both definitly work.
