Default LT1 valve springs on an LS1???

Hi Everybody! I was wondering if it's possible or if anybody has put valve springs from an LT1 on an LS1? Yes or No? If not, WHY??? Thanks for the help peoples...

No but I put LS1 valve springs on a LT1. I don't think you would want LT1 springs on your LS1, that would be a down-grade. They are heavy and have less spring tension. They are not a beehive design, either.

I wouldnt do it either. I think it would be a definite downgrade.

You could put pretty much any spring on any head if you have the seats and height right, all you need is machining, but why go through the hassle? The reson for upgreaded motor specific springs would be less complications, why try to "fit" something on that isn't designed to go on it?

We put LS-1 "style" valves and a PRC spring kit on my buddies LT-1. The heads were getting new guides anyway, so we had them install LS-1 guides.

I have an LT-1 10 degree titanium retainer setup using the PRC spring.This product will be a drop-in kit for the LT-1 cars.
