Default Need good refrences....

I need good references on building a stroker motor (408). I know I can pull the engine (which I hear is the hardest part). I've only worked on older carburated cars. Also I'm planning to run a turbo later on. Should I pursue this or should I let professionals do this. Any tips or sites sent my way would be greatly appreceated.

You should do the motor swap yourself and order a assembled 408 motor from one of the sponsors, I got mine from HPE.

The motor pull is not to bad, If you order a kit to do it yourself be carefull and check the clearances the kit I got needed alot of work to correct it. I would research and go with one of the sponsor of the site. If you order one check the crank end play and rod side bearing clearance and that will tell you if they did the rest of the work well, Good luck.

What is the difference in Iron and aluminum blocks besides weight. Which would be better for turbo use.
