Hey brian i was wanting to get some ideas from you about getting my heads worked on...i just recently came across a set of 5.3L which i will be puting on the 383 stroker im building...some other info about the engine (diamond 7cc valve reliefs, fast 90mm intake and thats it so far...im wanting to stay close to about $1500 and would like to keep the same size exhaust valves as the ls1 heads and go to the 2.02 intake valves...Any other ideas you think would be helpfull id appreciate it...thanks abunch

We just finished the new 5.3 CNC program this week, with a Ferrea 2.02 valve and minimal hand finish work it flowed 317 @ .600", and flows better everywhere then the old port, or just about anything else we have ever seen. I will shoot you a PM.

Hey Brian, I'm really interested in the new version of your 5.3L heads as well. Can you send me a pm about them? What I really want to see is how much they gain with hand finishing to comp level. Can you get a flow chart from a set of hand finished heads soon?

For me, these are going on a regular LS1 (not a stroker like the poster above) and I have stock pistons without reliefs, etc.
