Default pressed fit pistons with floating rods????

hi guys..
i sorta understand how a pressed fit piston is one where u basically just heat up and the pin and cram it into the pin hole, and a floating is a pin which is held in by them circlips.
However, a budget set of pistons im looking to buy have pressed fit pins however the conrods i have are full floating design, can u mix the two together? why does a rod care if the piston pin is floating or pressed???

The rod doesn't care just as long as you don't care about the pin scraping up and down the cylinder walls. Somehow the pin has to be held in place; either by the fit into the connecting rod or by circlips in the piston. If the piston expects to have the pins held by the rods then there are no circlips in the piston...if the rods leave the pin floating then you're screw'd....
