Default Stage 2 head question - please read!!!

I bought a 98 Trans Am recently and the previous owner said that the heads are stage 2 heads. Looking at the heads, they are stamped "806" near the fron of the head. These sound like stock heads to me. Are they? Or could they be stage 2 heads?

they are 98 castings. all heads beyond AFR and All pro are GM castings. stages are relative as theres no standardization. you cant tell by looking at them. you'll either need to get the info from the previous owner or pull the heads and have them flowed and spec'd.
