Default An open thread to our religious spammer

Howdy,

Look, I am one of the moderators on ls1tech. More importantly I am a Christian. I certainly believe in sharing your faith. But, the way you are sharing your faith is not generating positive results. Rather it is causing issues, and if you read the actual responses to your posts, isn't generating positive feedabck.

I believe we should share our faith. The problem is when you go start posts, many users especially those who don’t understand why we share our faith see it in the same light as someone initiating a post about a new **** website, low cost Viagra, or any of the other spam folks get on a regular basis.

I think we each have the opportunity to share our faith. But, its along the same lines as the guy who runs up and screams in your face “REPENT OR GO TO HELL”. Ok, at its core, we know it to be the truth. The issue is not the message, but the delivery. It’s a sure fired way to turn someone off from Christianity.

The idea isn’t to beat someone down with God. The idea is to be an example and show how and why God love is such a great gift. Look, I can’t control what you do. But, I can guarantee that many of the other mods will become more and more incensed by your violations of the board’s rules.

Look, there are plenty of threads that I have participated in on many sites I visit where the topic of religion comes up. I share my faith whenever I can. In most cases it comes up in a thread where someone wants to know “What do you think happens when we die”. “Do you think there is a God”. Rather than posting your little canned speech, take a little time to make the message personal, and address someone directly. Address their questions directly. IMHO it goes a lot further when you make it a personal message than a canned script that you post over and over again.

If you’d like to discuss this, send me a PM , and we can go over it. But I think there are better ways to approach sharing your faith. I've responded to every name you've registered under thus far. I have yet to get a single repsonse from you. If you truly care about fufilling the great commission then take a second to sit down and discuss what you are doing.

I have begun to ask myself if you are even a Christian. Many folks including myself have begun to wonder if in fact you are here working against Christianity by trying to turn folks off of religion altogether by annoying them with it. Like I said, there are ways to share your faith. You obviously know what you are doing is creating a negative backlash yet you continue to aggresively post on this site and many other sites.

Like I said, I don't know what your real motivation here is. Is it really to share your faith and God's love, or is it to just annoy folks and turn them off of religion entirely? If you really do love God, if you really do want to share your faith, and you really do want folks to understand what it is to be a Christian then I'm giving you this opportunity.

PM me, sit down and talk with me. I've made this offer via email to you, and had zero response from you. So, I'm now making this public offer. PM me, email me, whatever it takes to get in touch with me.

If you ignore this offer, and to continue to spam this and other sites with impunity then I will be forced to assume you are working against Christianity and just trying to annoy and to alienate folks. If thats the case we're going to take whatever action it takes to make you go away. Again, my hope is that we can sit down and discuss this like reasonable individuals.

Stop hiding behind troll accounts and if you mean it, stand up for your faith and lets talk one on one...
