increased displacement ??s I'm doin some planning for the future. One day would like to get a big bore engine set-up. Thinkin 4.00" crank and 4.125-4.155" bore. Is is still impossible to bore a darton wet sleeved MID block to 4.155? I was researching some older threads from '03 and didnt know if they ever got it to work. I wanted to do a 300 shot and eventually go solid roller when the whole thing was said and done. Sounds like i wont have problems runnin that shot on aluminum, but want to go iron. I dont have the most background on this subject so yeh. Anyone think i could fit that bore on an iron block? anything wrong w/ runnin alum. or iron? thanks guys.
you always could bore a MID sleeve to 4.155.....but 4.155 is MAX.....the reason nobody (including myself) goes that big is to leave for a rebore down the road..... 
a 4.131" bore (what I have) with a 4" stroke is a 429CI......a 4.155" bore with a 4" stroke is 433CI......4CI or the ability to rebore down the road...

i meant the boring ?? to be angled towards the iron block, sorry i forgot to put that part in. I knew aluminum you could do that im not sure about iron tho.
I always thought the max bore on an iron block was something like 4.060"... ?
