Cam/valvetrain questions
I will be installing the F13 in my 02 Z28 soon, but I cant find any good info that convinces me what timing chain to get. Ive found that some have kept teh stocker, gone with an LS2, or gone double roller. What do you all with mid-sized cams suggest? Also, do I need to spend the cash on a ported oil pump, or is my stock one ok? This car is my daily driver. I will have double springs, pushrods, and retainers, but do I need anything else? This is my first LS1 cam swap....I'm use to old school Gen1 engines
TIA

stock will work, but I think max durability would come from a double roller. Generally the more expensive ones are stronger.
I think a stock pump is fine in 99% of cases.
Circle/oval track, or any kind of endurance racing will need better oiling.
