Default Will my cam clear...233/239

I have all the mods in my sig.. but i'll recap on the heads. They are stage 2 patriot performance LQ9 59cc 2.05/1.57 valves. All I did was get them and put them on.. I didnt do any other modifications to the heads. I just pulled out the 226/226 585/585 cam and the ne cam will be here tomorrow. The new cam is a TSP 233/239 603/600 on a 112 lobe separation. Tsp said it should clear, but I want to make sure. I dont have any tools to check the clearance.. so I just want to know what others think.. It will be in the car tomorrow as soon as it comes in.. the car is torn down and ready for it.

.
you should always check clearances with a setup that is on the border-line (like the one your suggesting) .... regardless of what the shops or people on this board tell you. I know it's a pain in the ***, but it's much easier to do it right the first time, then it is to clean up the mess that would insue if they don't clear.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but it's the correct one.

judging from everything you posted, I assume the heads have not been shaved at all. I still think it will be very close on the intake side do to the valves. I'd guess you would be better off with a 231/237 TSP cam.
Regardless, check ptv clearance. I'm doing my build right now and checking is a process, but it has already saved me since a cam I was told would clear, did not.

After my conversation with the guy at TSP I would see you are going to have to go down on the cam alittle. The intake valve size on the head is what is going to hurt you on the ptvc.

yea I have ARE LS1 heads milled .010 with 2.05/1.57 valves and I was told that it wouldn't clear with that cam, so I jumped on the futral purchase and picked a F13
