Question Engine techs - please need advice

First a little history. 3 months ago I replaced my stock heads, cam, intake, push rods and factory rockers.

I put in a stage III ported, polished, coated set of heads, a LS6 Intake, Comp 1.7 push rods and Yella Terra Rockers. The cam is 234/236 lsa 115+1 .598/.602, EX-616 Springs with EX-122 Titanium retainers. I noticed after the install the heads seemed to have alot of clatter. Then after about 1 month I started to burn oil. About a quart every 500 miles.

Disassembled the top end and found that the valves, and valve guides were EXTREMELY worn. Looked worse than some I have seen with over 150,000 miles !

The machine shop that examined them was not sure of what had caused this in 2000 miles. The provider of the heads says it was most likely the Yella Terra rockers. Anyone else seen this kind of problem with yella terra rockers in a LS1 ?

What would you guys suggest that I have checked before installing new heads ? Sould I go back to stock rockers ? ANY IDEAS on preventing this from re-occurring would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yeah sounds weird I would have some new guides and seals put in the heads and have a machine shop relap the valves. Also ya can try a thread sealer on the rocker arm bolts if ya haven't already got it! If they was used reworked heads they way have somehow over looked. I would contact the person ya bought the head from and see whats up!

sounds to me like the ceramic coating in the chambers may have gotten into the guides and would be very abrasive.
