I think I have some pretty good low end torque.......F13 112LSA (+4)
No problem with stock rear gears and more torque than what I had from 3K on....

Man, I wish I still was ready to order heads. Results like these make me anxious, since this is the exact setup I'm looking into.

What size valves do the stage 2.5's have? I'm getting ready to put PRC stage 2.5 5.3's (2.04) on with my F13 and was wondering about P/V clearance.

Hmmm, I was going to go 2.05" intakes on 5.3 heads with an F13 or 14, but was told not to unless I wanted to flycut the pistons. I ended up just going with 2.02" intakes. "Very little perf difference on a 346ci motor"

TSP told me "no problem, it will fit", I just wanted to see if anyone had actually done it without flycutting.

Cool, let me know how it works out...are you going to clay them just to make sure?

I was going to go for the 2.05" I really wanted them, but Futral and a few other reputable names said that it may work, but a big IF. This along with the fact that 2.02"s can be done on stock seats I decided not to push my luck.

I'm also decided to step up to the F14 which is even less friendly towards the 2.05" valves.

Ok, so if your F13 112@+2 fits on Stage 2 - 5.3 heads, a F13 114@+4 should fit on the TEA 5.3 - Stage 1.5

Was your car a PITA to tune? Do you have cats?

Thanks!

I'm thinking about stepping up to this cam also, but I haven't heard of anyone using it in an A4 yet. I have GTP stg 2 heads and 224/224 .581" 114lsa cam right now, but wanting to go a little bigger. Everything I've read, it's been recommended to go with the F13 on a 112 +2 or 112 +0 if you weren't afraid to shift pretty high. What do you guys think would be ideal for an AUTO, and what should I have my stall/re-stalled to. It's a vig 2800 2.5str, but stalls closer to 32-3300.

i just got TEA 5.3 stg. 1.5 rev2 heads and talked to allen futral and he recommended me the F13-112+2 since i didnt want to be shifting around 6700-7000k. (which is the range of the F14) he told me that the F13 112+2 is better for 6spd cars and +4 was better for auto's..actually let me correct myself 114 was better for auto's...he told me why but i forgot but if you talk with him, he'll let you know...thats my advice...just from talking with him i could tell he knew what the hell he was talking about...no hesitation, no "if's, or's, i dont know's" he answered me as soon as i asked the questions...good guy and really knowledgeable...
