Default Do valvetrains develop a memory with components?

I remember reading this awhile back in a mag that when you are switching out camshafts you should do the entire valve train(pushrods, lifters, and rockers).

The reasoning behind this was that a memory was developed with the components and the engine would perform better.

Any truth to this or is it just a load of BS.

Engine parts have some point of friction with others so in general, when you are reusing parts it is better to put them back in the order that they came out off.
