Agreed. Get your **** together, then come talk to us.

i think your confused, pick up this discussion when you have the dyno to prove your point. w/o any data your not aiding your cause.
I will dyno my car saturday and we will see I still am only going by what I've seen and heard and on this forum a guy just dynoed is t rex and it made 80ft pounds of torque when I dyno my car we will see what the numbers are. All I wanted to do was bring other cams to fore front for discussion. Talk to everybody saturday aftnoon with results.

This cam you have isn't a one off design. It won't be a miracal cam either. It has the same specs as many other cams out there, but on a 110 LSA. Your 232 duration cam will not pull to 7k either. It'll peak around 6400 and hold till about 67-6800 just like all the others.

and really...it doesnt matter what your dyno #'s are....

"A DYNO DOESNT GO DOWN THE TRACK"

take it to the track.....find a car the exact same as your except for the cam....
compare time slips.....

Very true Dyno #'s mean nothing. Most of my track cars lose 20-30 "dyno"hp to run there fastest times

So far,not 1 big Cam has impressed me yet at the track. Most of the cars up here weigh in at 3550+lbs and the fastest cars run smaller than 230 Cams.

one of the common problems with the "big" cams is that people get the cam..but not the gear to support it...
a t-rex on 3.42's sucks......but put it on 4.56's or higher.....now thats the way to go

my tr224 112 lsa is making 330 ft lbs of tq @ 3k (@3700 rpms its full on 372tq and holds til 5k) w/190 hp@3k (372 max 6k), it'll snap the tires free and your head off at anytime.

I got my car dynoed but I don't have a scanner yet to post my numbers but I made 395 rwhp and 440 torque not to bad considering stock 2k intake, stock throttle body and stock pulley and no tuning done! I'm happy with my numbers and when I get a pulley and intake, heads and tuning will see what happens!

Those seem like very good numbers.

What RPM did you manage to peak for HP?

Just read through most of this thread...keep in mind, that peak numbers don't
really mean much.

It's the average power over a range of RPM that will win a race. IF the car
is geared to use that window effectively, and stay within that best average
range of power, it will likely do better on the drag strip.

Torque is a force. Horesepower is a measurement. Don't confuse the two.

You want the most torque at any RPM. HP tells you the amount of work the
engine is doing over time.

IE:

300 ft./lbs. of torque @ 2500 RPM = 142.8 HP

250 ft./lbs. of torque @ 5500 RPM = 261.8 HP

Using the HP numbers, you would want to be at 5500 RPM to achieve more
power even though the torque is lower at that RPM.

You put it on the dyno and didn't tune it?

Exactly what mods have you done to achieve these numbers?

No that is correct I need tuning and I'm going to put an ls6 or lsx intake on the car with throttle body and should bring up the horsepower numbers!

80lbs of torque at 2k rpms? If that's the case, that's really weak, dude... I have a 231/237 cam, and it is not a torquey cam at all, and it's making 295lbs of torque at 2.5k rpms where my dyno starts, and 140rwhp at that point. At 3k rpms, it's making 310lbs of torque, and 170rwhp.

HAHA 440RWTQ? hahaha
thats the funniest **** I've heard.
I'll agree with the bullshit statements on that one.
Or maybe you are saying 395rwhp untuned, and 440FWTQ. Thats all I can think of..
Even backwards 440rwhp395/rwtq isnt anywhere near believeable considering the mods...

Post the graph, and I'll post my F14 graph with Tuning, TB (mildly ported) stock pulley, etc.
