engine shaking

Default engine shaking

when my car is at an idle the enging shakes and my friend thinks it shakes too much side to side how much should it shake with heads and a cam and 400 hp to the wheels at idle, what could be wrong if its not suppose to be doin this

umm it should shake a lot unless you have solid or poly motor mounts...i know mine shakes a lot...it is also untuned though...i'd say quite a bit of shake is normal for any decently sizedcammed car

mine shakes after my F11 cam install.. 228/230 .575/.595 114+4 LSA... Its normal

400 hp to the wheels at idle? Thats one badass engine. I know what you mean just giving you a hard time. Anyway dont know if youve owned any other f-bodies but the LS1 is pretty refined compared to gen 1 and 2 engines.

How many miles are on your car? How much hard track time? Stock motor mounts wear after awhile, I pulled mine off and they were pretty tweaked, put some prothane mounts on and the engine is rock solid.... the car shakes instead...

the car has 65000 miles and not that much track time but im definatley getting the poly motor mounts thanks for all the help

mine shakes like a **** lol.. but it looks kinda neat.. like the motor wants to jump out and kick someone's ***!!

misfiring will make it shake but with a h/c setup its going to shake alot. Mine did

Mine shakes a lot with my G5X3 cam, and putting over 400 down. My one friend thinks it looks mean. He says that my LS1 looks "angry".....lol
