LS1 vs LS2

Am going to build a 408. Firstly, would there be any advantage in going with an LS2 instead of an LS1? Also, is there an iron block ls2 out yet? I want to do a fairly substantial N20 direct port setup, 300, and i think iron is the way to go. Thanks!

If you want to be safe then i would look into the LQ4 or LQ9 block. They are the same block only diffrace is the pistons and u will be changing them.
If you use a ls1 block u will have to resleave the block and that will cost an arm and a leg and maby your first born.
