Motor 4 Times ,no Signs Of Metal In The Pan,i Also Replaced The Oil Pump.this Sounds Like Lower End Rod Knock.i 've Never Heard Piston Slap Like This.this Started After About 2,200 Miles On A Reman Short Block.any Help?

Did you get a warranty with that reman?
Piston slap will go away after the engine runs for a minute. Sounds like that lifter/cam incident got to a bearing.

Just Spoke To The Vette Expert At Our Chevy Store Yesterday.he Heard The
Sound & Said That One Of The Rods Has Excessive Clearance, more Than Likely A Bi-product Of The Reman Process.the Sound Has Gotten Worse Since The Post Yesterday So The Vehicle Is Not Being Driven At This Point.fortunatley The Reman Warr Covers A New Short Block.
Hopefully This One Will Have The Correct Tolerances.this Noise Developed In Less Than 2,400 Miles.
