How much of a factor is a 90mmTB over a stock one?
My motor is an 02 LS1 with SLP long tube headers, ORPS and SLP 345hp catback (cats removed) and the CME/Dual Dual muffler, Donaldson Blackwing airlid.
I'm running stock internals with 5.3 heads, 2.02"/1.55" valves custom ported and chambered with 11:1 CR.
Valve train will be a Futral F14, PRC springs, Ti retainers, etc.
Car is a 6spd running 4.10s
All of the mods listed above will be installed in a few weeks.

is the Nick Williams design is the same as the Fast. MTI makes 90mm but its not based on the shaft and bearing style like the Fast , it uses the factory style ( spring and shaft)

When the first thing you have to do is "fix" a brand new $4-500 TB I'd say it's junk. Here's a couple threads.

Well damn, this sucks. I read thru all those threads, I haven't noticed any problems with mine which has been installed since last November but while it's off now I'm going to check it real close. Thanks
