Default 90mm throttle body

Who makes a decent one and how much should I expect to pay?

I emailed Futral and Alan says my TB will be my weak link.

How do I contact Nick?

How much of a factor is a 90mmTB over a stock one?

My motor is an 02 LS1 with SLP long tube headers, ORPS and SLP 345hp catback (cats removed) and the CME/Dual Dual muffler, Donaldson Blackwing airlid.
I'm running stock internals with 5.3 heads, 2.02"/1.55" valves custom ported and chambered with 11:1 CR.
Valve train will be a Futral F14, PRC springs, Ti retainers, etc.
Car is a 6spd running 4.10s

All of the mods listed above will be installed in a few weeks.

Tim

is the Nick Williams design is the same as the Fast. MTI makes 90mm but its not based on the shaft and bearing style like the Fast , it uses the factory style ( spring and shaft)

PM Nick Williams (it's his user name too ) he'll answer your questions. You can order his TB from Speed inc, SDPC, Texas Speed and other sponsors.

Just curious, why do you say the Fast T/B is junk?

When the first thing you have to do is "fix" a brand new $4-500 TB I'd say it's junk. Here's a couple threads.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=fast+problems
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=fast+problems
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=fast+problems
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=fast+problems

And this one was actually started by a sponser:

Well damn, this sucks. I read thru all those threads, I haven't noticed any problems with mine which has been installed since last November but while it's off now I'm going to check it real close. Thanks

Nick Williams is 419.99 NO core.

TPIS is what 650.00? and a core.

I wouldn't even consider a FAST.

The Nick Williams is a no brainer.
