Default the new mobil1

so what is every1's opinion on these new mobil1 synthetics? i have always ran mobil1 5-30 w/ ac delco filter but i have been debating on trying the 7500 mile oil and changing it every 5000 miles what does every1 think??

it also would be interesting if someone could do a oil test on these 3 new mobil sythetics vs the regular mobil 1 5-30

There are already at least two other topics just like this which were started in the last week.

I would never go over my 3k service intervals! be cause oil just ain't that expensive to me when ya have a high priced engine like the LS1! Try it if ya'll want but I'm not!

I would use dino oil and change it more. I had a 96 vette and used mob 1. It started leaking bad before 30,000 miles. The same thing happend with my 94 z28. Hope this helps.

That is the fault of the LT1 engine, not the oil.
